And now heading West

Mollie threw on her cowboy hat and we headed West to Montana for a week with the girls. She loved everything from goofing with her girlfriends, to throwing stones in the streams, to playing in the grass with mountains in the background. What an amazing trip!!

Mommy and Me trip out East!

Mollie and I made a trip to the Jersey Shore to meet her pen-pal, Dylan. They couldn't have been more perfect together... a little love, a little mischief, some ice cream and some adorable beach bums. It was a perfect week!

Our Irish Baby is ONE!

The stats: 23.14 lbs (85th percentile) and 32 inches (WOW... off the charts)

The birthday highlights: a slideshow (to music :) of Mollie's BIG 1!

Our baby girl is officially a toddler, no longer a baby... and to my surprise, that statement has brought me many tears! Although I've decided the first year of parenthood goes at the perfect pace, today it seems like just yesterday we were just welcoming our baby girl home. Her luau pool party celebration was perfect for her fun-loving personality, and as you saw earlier, she didn't disappoint and dove face first into her cake. The lovely munckin was sooo tired after her birthday weekend that she fell asleep in dad's arms on the way to her crib, leaving mom and dad to do much reflecting about our angel's first year.

Mollie Laine, we have loved every minute of watching you grow from a little cuddly newborn, to a spunky infant, to the beautiful toddler with the loudest laugh and biggest smile we've ever seen. You are my sunshine! Happy Birthday beautiful girl! We love you more than you will ever know.
