Great Lake Weekend

Miss independent had a fantastic weekend swimming and tubing and coloring and dancing at the lake!

BOOTS!

she wants to wear her boots everywhere! And, as you can see, bows too :)

SOO BIG!

There was something about today that made my little girl seem soooo old! It was probably the perfect combo of her looking like a little girl in the outfit she picked out herself, her new tennies, and the hilarious comments that come out of her mouth. Big girl, you blew me away today! I love you!

p.s. whoever invented power wheels was a genius! there is nothing cooler for a two year old then to drive their own car!

Girl's Night

10 adults, 5 girls, and a dog... lots of wonderful chaos, and lots of laughing, dancing and eventually tired girls. Fantastic night and good friends (who were so adorable snuggling in bed at the end of the evening)!

A Fancy Friday

Well I guess it wasn't too fancy, as evidenced by Mollie's attire. But thanks to Aunt Meghan, the tea party was very fancy. A perfect Friday!

Mollie's Month Long Birthday Celebration!

Mollie's birthday celebration kicked off in Madison with Grandpa playing happy birthday on the piano, then having pancakes with candles and a tea party with her dollies, then continued to celebrate with the whole fam in Dallas and a pool party at Nana and Papa's house, then capped it off with a water park in our yard and her little friends coming to celebrate. Mollie, it has been so much fun watching you enjoy every detail of your celebrations, from the singing, to the blowing out of candles, to the highlight of opening the presents. We love you beautiful 2 year old!

Happy Birthday Beautiful Girl

Saying our two year old had a great birthday would be an understatement.

She woke up this morning and said "tutu please", and you can see where the day went from there (heels and a tiara?!).

Mollie Laine, we love you more than anything in the world. We have a lot to be thankful for. More memories and pics to come when Mom catches up on your pics!

The Circus

Today was the longest Mollie has sat still in her almost two hear existence. She LOVED the circus. For the first hour she sat still, just amazed and in awe. The second hour she started dancing along with the performers and getting hyped up when the animals came onto stage. Turns out her Mom loved it just as much as she did. Wow - impressive performances by all!!!!

BALLET

Our girlie girl started ballet today and she just loved putting on the tutu and ballet shoes that go with it. It is her first class that isn't mom and tot. She goes alone. Oh, how I wish I could be a fly on the wall in that class!!!

Since our first class, she has been saying "I need ballet". Here are some pics of her prepping for class :)
