Trick or Treat

Rapunzel and her magic flower were ready to rock and roll tonight.  We joined the kids from our block to hit the neighborhood trick or treating scene.  It was a BLAST!  Mollie was in her element gathering candy and Kendall had fun toddling around the busy streets.  Seriously, this is one of the best holidays with kids this age.  I am still glowing from watching these kiddos take over the neighborhood with their friends!

Soccer Season #1

It has been so much fun to watch the 3/4 year old Firecrackers figure out the sport of soccer this season.  Learning that it is ok to take the ball from the other team, learning that assists are just as cool as goals, and learning that toughing it through the game is worth it for the donuts and juice boxes at the end.

 

 Even KK has had fun in the cheering section at the games, trying to get in there to grab the ball when no one is looking!  She'll be ready for her turn in a couple of years.

Third Annual Pumpkin Carving Party

We joined the Kuchler's for our annual carving event and this year the girls were finally ready to roll up their sleeves and dig in!

The final products were quite impressive.  We brought home a Cinderella in her pumpkin carriage, a Mickey Mouse and a scary face.

Why not bring kids to your neighbors beer garten fest?!  

Actually, our babysitter wasn't able to make it last minute, so we thought we'd drop by for a quick hello since we couldn't attend the party.  A quick hello turned into a quick stein.

Our College Town?!

Although there is a university a couple of miles away, we haven't realized the potential of what it has to offer.  We hit up the homecoming parade and participated in our first tailgate at the boulevard.  SO much fun and so excited to know all of this fun is right around the corner.  The candy from the parade was the highlight of Mollie's entire weekend!
