Happy Birthday to the Best

We made the long MLK holiday into a birthday festival to celebrate our favorite dad!

From pancakes with candles, sprinkles and whipped cream to family bowling, to a mint chocolate chip ice cream cake... we celebrated dad all weekend long, and loved every minute!  Mom even stole some laughs from Dad on a celebratory date night!  Thank you for being the most supportive, loving, hilarious dad and hubby there is. We LOVE YOU!

Cupcake Wars!

The new favorite TV show is cupcake wars, so we thought we'd host our own version at home.  The outcome was super impressive with KK's "M&M" cupcake winning most beautiful, Mollie's "Double Fun" winning most creative, and kennedy's "cray cray" winning best name.  Love the creativity and new love for all things baking and cooking!

Our Annual Dallas Snowday!

There was a 15% chance of snow, which I explained to Mollie is a VERY LOW chance.

Yet, she talked about it all week.  Went they went to school today, it had dropped to 10% chance, so when I came out of a meeting and saw FLURRIES at noon, I had to fight every muscle in my body to not go get the girls out of school and play in the snow.

Luckily, it started to come down harder, and ended up hanging around until they were out of school.

SO, they spent the entire afternoon in the snow!! THEN, were thrilled and surprised when it was still on the ground the next day.  Two days of hours of endless snow play.  In Dallas.  What a treat!
