TCU, here we come!

You girls qualified to participate in the State Private School Interscholastic Association competition after your awesome performances at districts in Storytelling (kk) ad Geography and Spelling (Mol)!  We couldn't be more excited to be here with you to celebrate your hard work and support those awesome, independent, bright, beautiful brains you have!  What an honor to represent your school and how wonderful to see your hard work pay off!

Susan B. Anthony

I couldn't have picked out anyone better for you to represent at the fourth grade Living History Museum, than Susan B. Anthony.  You have always wanted to be an activist, to stand up for an important cause, to make a difference... and that is exactly what this woman did.  And you got to share her accomplishments with hundreds of people today.  We are so proud of the work you did on this project and the way you represented this wonderful woman who changed history!

Easter Festivities

We celebrated this special day with an early morning outdoor service as the sun rose, and continued with family, golf, bunnies, swimming, candy and of course, egg hunts!

Mama's Over the Hill

And wow, did you make me feel loved!  Surprise visitors, flocks of flamingos, a huge family party, a backyard bash with friends, a wonderful intimate dinner with the four of us, and a trip to Italy to look forward to!  

Turning 40 just made me count my blessings.  It made me reflect on how wonderful our life is.  It made me smile! It made me excited for what the next decades will bring.  The last four brought a wonderful life growing up with my parents and sis in Wisconsin, traveling, exploring, playing outside, sports, hiking... then college, which is a most magical time... then my first job and falling in love with your dad.... then getting married and having two beautiful baby girls... Now we are an established family with big girls instead of babies.  Watching you do the things I remember doing when I was growing up.  Traveling as a family on trips that we will remember for our lifetime.  Enjoying the home we built together as a family of four and our own weekly and annual traditions.  And I cannot wait to see what else is in store.  Thank you for making me feel so special.  Love you!

Mama's first time celebrating 40 on Marco Beach!!

So many favorite moments, favorite traditions.  So much fun listening to you laugh while you jump in the waves, watching you run into the ocean for sunset swimming. So much fun watching you hold hands with your Grandparents and cousins and venturing into the waves! So much fun watching you grow up here.  You started visiting as babies in strollers and now are babysitting your cousins and relaxing and reading on beach chairs!  And this year, I was so surprised by the awesome birthday celebrations, at one of my favorite places where I grew up going.

Cheers to a wonderful trip and memories that will last a lifetime!
