The BEST Easter

Slowing down life helps us appreciate all of our blessings!

And we have so many. 

Celebrating Easter this year was so special, from dying eggs and making cookies, to watching church from the comfort of our porch with PJ's, to finding out the Easter bunny still came.  And although it was supposed to rain all day, we woke up to the bluest sky and set the table outside and enjoyed the most beautiful brunch together from a restaurant down the street, before we spent the afternoon hunting for eggs and roasting peep s'mores.

From 2005 to 2020!

We celebrated our 15 year anny at home during quarantine2020.

We have plans for NYC and Hamilton this summer to celebrate, but if that doesn't happen, what happened on the evening of April 9 was just perfect.  The girls helped me set the most gorgeous table with fresh flowers (a treat these days), Chrystal, china, and silver.  My sweet date surprised all of us looking dapper in his tux... so I jumped in a white dress for the occasion.  We procured the most beautiful cheese board (another treat!) and ate it on the patio with the girls while FaceTiming both sets of grandparents.  Then we watched the wedding video as a family.  Finally, the two dressed up servers served us a gorgeous meal from Al Biernat's while playing our wedding song in the background!  Then we reminisced about memories from the last 15 years and plans for the next.  

Mollie surprised us with this blackbox anny pic, which we joked allow us to pretend we could be celebrating our anniversary anywhere... French Garden, Italian Countryside.  But even though it was our backyard, it was an unforgettable celebration!
