Kiowa Time

A great Good Friday at Lake Kiowa. The three big highlights were

1. Going "faster" on the jet ski and boat

2. A polar bear swim

3. Daddy sailing

It all started with toes in the water and clothes on.

I'm sure you could guess how the story ended.

How Cool, Uncle Josh thought of me in Brazil!

Mollie was so excited to get a teddy bear treat from Uncle Josh, that she took the opportunity to goof around with it on her head and model the many faces of Mollie Hanratty.

So we all got to act like kids and go to the zoo in the rain, ride the carousel, feed the giraffes and eat too many cookies... perfect morning!

Singing in the Rain

It all started with a little twirling in the rain, sporting her kitty cat umbrella, fairy wings and favorite rain boots...
Then she recruited a friend.THEN, she turned it into bath time. "Look Mommy, we're taking a bath", as she scooped up water from the puddles and splashed it over her facepainted face.

Turned into big laughs, soaking pretty girl and precious memories. Love the free spirit!

Friends and Facepaint

Depending on how the weather goes, we might have already had our last spring day at the Arboretum. Although we all left drenched in sweat after it hit 90, it didn't seem to bother the kids one bit as they had a blast dancing, getting their faces painted and petting the animals.

Dance Performance - take II

We had a stronger start this time, she put her hands on her hips and started the swaying like she was supposed to...
but then the fingers made it in the mouth and the dancing stopped.After the performance she said "I didn't do the dance" and we asked her why. She said "the audience scared me". We will have to read up on some Angelina on Stage books to prepare for the big recital coming up next month!
