Bonus Day

Thanks to American Airlines engine malfunction, we had a bonus day in Madison and were able to spend the evening at Jazz at 5.  Was a wonderful way to cap off an amazing trip!

Front row seats.
Dancing in the streets.

Grandma and Grandpa, can't thank you enough for turning your house into a kiddo adventureland and trucking us all over Madison for wonderful entertainment.  We loved every minute and miss you already!

Day at the Pool

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa, we had a photo shoot with these adorable new dresses, then Mollie and I had a trip inside the capitol before we hit the pool.  Although Mollie didn't want to hit the water slides, Grandma and I had a blast taking turns being kids again on the slides!

Off to the neighborhood pool

Monday Funday

The idea that our oldest is big enough to enjoy an amusement park is crazy to me... and I didn't even know what was coming.
We kicked off the big day on the Ferris Wheel, which Mollie enjoyed, but thought was a little scary at the top.  Then she dared the mini (and I mean very mini) roller coaster with Grandpa.  The need for speed started there, and she was quickly squirming on the kiddy rides she shared with her sis (to our surprise, Kendall loved flying around in circles on the firetrucks, and it was hilarious to watch her driving all by herself!).

We jumped on the monorail which circled the park, and gave Mollie a glimpse of what could be ahead... the big girl rides!
The minute the ride ended, she was off and running... to the Tilt-a-whirl... the Scrambler... the BIG roller coaster....

Each ride ended with her screaming and wanting more.  Unfortunately, her mom is not cut out for these things.  Luckily Grandma and Grandpa were on board with riding their favorite rides with her.
All in all, there was no shortage of screaming... Mollie in delight, the grown-ups in nausea!  I am scared of what's to come with this daredevil.  Grandma and Grandpa, thanks for opening up her eyes ;)

Madison Sunday Funday

We took the Cutty JARK out on Lake Mendota.  Mollie was at the helm with the Captain for a minute, but was done in her comfy home before long...

We finished the trip reading and relaxing on the bow.

Then headed home to celebrate Grandma's birthday.
August is a month jam packed with birthday celebrations in the Sieger fam.
Grandma, so happy to be there to celebrate with you.
Cheers to you and all of the joy you spread everywhere you go!
