Memorial Day 2013

We packed so much excitement into this four day holiday weekend, it felt like a vacation!  We kicked it off with a family trip to Klyde Warren to meet Sienna on her first outing.  Games, water play and baby love ensued.

 Our first family movie night - Mary Poppins and popcorn! Perfection!

We introduced the girls to the Northwood Pool and Spray ground.  

You can measure their excitement by the smiles :)

 Then hosted the newly expanded Sieger clan in the backyard.

 Then visited Papa for some hugs and swimming in the Plano pool

 We capped off the weekend with a round of golf and Memorial Day BBQ at Northwood with Grandpa and Grandma and our favorite neighbors.  The highlight was a diving competition, which was capped off by Mollie's first jump off the board.  A perfect celebration!

Chapel with special guests

Mollie was so lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa as her special guests at chapel this week.  I sat in the row behind them, overwhelmed with tears of joy and gratitude, which quickly turned to giggles as Kendall performed a ballet routine to the songs of praise.  Apparently Mollie's recital last week really left an impression.

This summer is going to be interesting. I learned this weekend that I have not only one fish, but two.  When Kendall saw Mollie jumping off the side of the pool, she decided she wanted to join.  Unfortunately, she also wanted to swim by herself like her sister.  

Hope two hands is enough this summer :) And lessons start tomorrow!

Mollie Mommy Day

These are always some of my favorite days.  Mollie and I went to the new Perot Museum of Nature and Science. There were some pretty cool exhibits, but the highlight of my day was Mollie saying "this is so fun, I am going to dream about it tonight".
