Beach Babies

We just returned from a fairytale week at Marco Island with Grandma and Grandpa.

The sun was shining, ocean water was crystal clear and the girls were amazing.

From our morning swims in the pool, to our afternoon picnics on the beach, twilight swim, wave jumping and sunset happy hours, everything was storybook perfection!

Mollie spent her beach time collecting shells, jumping over the waves as her belly laugh echoed down the beach, and helping sis with her sand castles.  Sis just mastered the art of the sand castle.  Although she never got in the ocean, she loved her time wading in her sand castle pool and getting her feet buried in the sand.

Mom was happy!

As always, not only is the ocean a blast, but the pool is a huge hit with the girls!

Mollie's First Tooth Fairy Visit

After weeks and weeks of watching Mollie wiggle her bottom front tooth, we sent her to school and received this email shortly after...

Hi-- Mollie asked me to check her loose tooth and when I did it fell off in my hand!!!!!  Needless to say we were all SHOCKED!  The look on her face made us unsure of what emotion was going to come out!  Fortunately she became very excited so we wanted to share the excitement with you!!!

Luckily, her Kinder teacher, Ms. Bittle, is an expert tooth puller, so Mollie came home with a big smile and a tooth in her bag.  She was so excited to put it under her pillow to see what the tooth fairy would bring.  She ran into our room in the morning to show us four $1 coins that she quickly put in her piggy bank to save for her donation to "stop children's hunger".  She has since been showing anyone she meets the big hole in her mouth!

We are so proud of you big girl!

9 Years with Daddy

Girls,

Today I celebrate nine years of marriage with your dad.  I feel so blessed and so so happy!  He has made our family what it is today.  My hope is that one day you will find a partner as supportive, loving, giving and fun as your dad is to us.  He makes me smile every day and every day I am grateful to share my life with him.  He is my fairy tale come true.
