LOOK OUT MAUI... We're here!!!!!

The 22 of us have descended on Maui, and our crew wasted no time sprinting for the water!  While everyone else unpacked, we did a quick preview of the local produce... and more importantly.. the ocean just as the sun was setting!  These girls charge right in!  So excited for the week ahead of us.

We are off to HAWAII

Our special treat for the summer was a family trip to Maui with three other families. 

I CANNOT BELIVE THIS TRIP HAS ACTUALLY ARRIVED!

We've been planning for so long, and the 8 hour flight is here :)

Grandma outfitted our cute little pandas with all they need to be comfy and catch a few zzz's when it's time for a movie break!

KK and Mom Time

I had the treat of some KK to myself time this morning, and gave her the choice of activity.  She had earned a free ice skate from her summer reading prizes, so off we went.  To say we had fun would be an understatement.  One of my favorite quotes of the summer:

"I've been dreaming for my whole life to go ice-skating and it came true!"

 The best part is we had the whole place to ourselves as we held hands and clumsily skated across the huge rink!  What a magical day with my soon to be kindergartener!  So glad I got this time with you sweet girl!

Camp H2O

Our summer pool dates with the Hubach's, also known as Camp H2O, went on a field trip to Kiowa this weekend!  We kicked it off in style with matching outfits, and finished in style with each kid getting a turn on the sunset cruise with the captains hat.  The kids loved every minute together!  

July 4th!

Another of summer's favorite traditions - the Hanratty Festival for the 4th of July!

We all gathered at Lake Kiowa for tubing, cannonballs off the boat, grilling out, jet skiing, Papa's annual reading, fireworks, and most importantly CANDY from the 4th of July parade! These lake rats barely get out of the water, but when they do, they clean up quite nicely :)  and they will come out for candy!
