Morning at the Black Rock

We started our day with a family adventure... Dad launching off of the cliff at Black Rock, jumping in the big waves, and a snorkel adventure ~  just the four of us, holding hands!

to jumping off the side into the sunset, this was amazing.

Kaanapoli Beach

Dad made it down from watching the British Open right in time for the sun to come out, and to lead the charge to find more fish.  And before we knew it, we took over the beach with our crowd of 22! 

 KK and Bay got some good alone time with a view, and Mollie and her crew started to get the hang of boogie boarding!

After a fun lunch, and before an adult night out, we capped off the most perfect day in the pool.

Jet Lag?!?!

After a late dinner with friends, these girls were bright eyed and bushy tailed at 6am!

What to do?!!!  Take my coffee to the beach.

This was a morning I will never forget.  We woke up with the sun and had the beach all to ourselves.  The only sounds I could hear were my girls laughing.  I sipped my coffee, soaked up that most magical sound, and took them in... enjoying and exploring.  

" WE SAW A FISH!!!!!!!"  If that was the excitement level over one fish, I can't wait to see what happens when we hit some good snorkeling spots!

Cheers to a memory I will never forget and the perfect start to this trip.  

LOOK OUT MAUI... We're here!!!!!

The 22 of us have descended on Maui, and our crew wasted no time sprinting for the water!  While everyone else unpacked, we did a quick preview of the local produce... and more importantly.. the ocean just as the sun was setting!  These girls charge right in!  So excited for the week ahead of us.

We are off to HAWAII

Our special treat for the summer was a family trip to Maui with three other families. 

I CANNOT BELIVE THIS TRIP HAS ACTUALLY ARRIVED!

We've been planning for so long, and the 8 hour flight is here :)

Grandma outfitted our cute little pandas with all they need to be comfy and catch a few zzz's when it's time for a movie break!

KK and Mom Time

I had the treat of some KK to myself time this morning, and gave her the choice of activity.  She had earned a free ice skate from her summer reading prizes, so off we went.  To say we had fun would be an understatement.  One of my favorite quotes of the summer:

"I've been dreaming for my whole life to go ice-skating and it came true!"

 The best part is we had the whole place to ourselves as we held hands and clumsily skated across the huge rink!  What a magical day with my soon to be kindergartener!  So glad I got this time with you sweet girl!
