Mastering the Art of Catching a Wave

Today was all about Boogie Boarding and KK's birthday!

Both girls (and daddy :) spent the entire time at gorgeous 

Flemming Beach catching waves and laughing loud!

 After an awesome birthday dinner and celebration for Kendall, 

the kiddos all put on a gorgeous luau dance for us!

Kendall, I remember the day you were born like yesterday, but I feel like you've been shining your rays of sun on us for our whole lives!  I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate you than in the sunshine of Hawaii!  Today we celebrate your smile, run hugs, morning cuddles, and all of the joy your exude at every moment of the day.  Today we brought a luau party to you in Hawaii, and you mastered the art of boogie boarding, drank out of a pineapple, had a special dinner on the beach, then had cupcakes with your buddies!  

You are the sun sweet girl, our sun... and you are SIX! 

Can't wait to see what your next year brings as you start kindergarten and continue to shine your bright light on this world!

A day to adventure

We kicked off the day at Makena Beach, then swam at turtle town, where the girls and Dad snorkeled with (and PET :) a turtle, then after a short snooze in the car, hiked to the Blow Hole, which ended up being one of the highlights for the girls of the entire trip.  

Then,  we even made time to grab fresh coconuts in Honolua to drink on the way home.
