After ALL the hours, we made it to Madison and toasted with one of Grandpa's signature strawberry and lime smoothies! Then we all got in on some homemade pasta for dinner.
The next day we made was truly our first outing to a public place since the start of quarantine... the Union Terrace! And boy did it feel good to get out! And they did a great job of making us feel safe. Although it was a different experience than years past, the view and the blue moon were the same, and we kept the tradition alive!
And as quickly as we could, we made our way to the Hideaway! Which was a perfect time to spend Father's Day and celebrate your Dad and mine! And as we knew he would, Finn LOVED it!
Another fav tradition... the sand bars!
And then we went back!
And we went back here too! For the 4th of July! And Grandpa set off some awesome fireworks around the fire pit and we lit up the night with our sparklers and fireflies!
And last but not least, we went back here!
