We had a great weekend with Nana and Papa, kicking off the lake season by land and water. Turns out 2 1/2 brings new adventures to get excited about in a familiar place.Land -
Mollie loved her first official hike around the Horseshoe path at Lake Kiowa (only after a failed attempt to make it up near Oklahoma). Although Mom and Dad had their sites set on bigger things, the hike was PERFECT for Mollie and she couldn't have been more thrilled with her walking sticks, rock collection, the fort we discovered and checking out the flowers.
Water -
Papa put the boat in the water and Mollie couldn't get enough of it. "FASTER AGAIN" was the line said the most frequently this weekend. Here are the boat pics...

Very jealous seeing that sunshine, short sleeves, and even shorts in these photos. We're ready for spring to arrive and for the rain to STOP up here in the Pacific Northwest!
