Due to the craziest rain ever, we had to scrap one of our favorite traditions of the year, and go to Plan B for finding our Christmas tree. Actually, we ended up on Plan C.
We started with an attempt at Plan B, where the girls at least enjoyed some hay bails and a maze. 
BUT, Plan C brought us to Lowe's, where we picked out a tree we could barely see and threw it in the trunk in about 10 minutes. Still got some smiles, and ended up with the most beautiful tree we've had yet. Might be hard to resist turning this into a tradition ;) luckily I have a hard time turning down hot cocoa and a hayride, so we will be back at the Chrstimas tree from with our saw next year!
