I'd like to call this highlights, but it's more of an entire album.
This trip has too many priceless moments to pick out just a few. These girls couldn't have been more happy to be in the mountains with their cousins and could not have been more excited to SKI because they "LOVE SKIING!" Be still my heart!
I obviously couldn't be more overjoyed than to have our kids fall in love with my very favorite sport.
It was a wonderful week watching them so excited to walk about the door in the morning to hit the mountain, then spend the afternoon skiing behind them as they showed off their new skills from ski school. Mollie graduated to polls this year, and Kendall graduated to keeping up with Mollie. The big bonus there meant we could actually all ski as a family together, and all three of us laughed as we watched KK dance, then get in her tuck to beat us down the mountain! We even added an extra ski day because the kids didn't want to stop. We skied through the trees, just like my sis and I used to do, and capped off the trip with a wonderful family lunch mid-mountain while basking in the sun. I literally couldn't smile any bigger as I type this and reminisce :)
In addition to the skiing, we had a huge crew, including both our girls, for snowmobiling to the top of the Continental Divide at Georgia Pass... we had a family variety show, where our family did an adaptation of Moana, their new fav movie and their Nana and Papa did a game show...we went for hikes along the river behind the house.... we hugged our cousins "like 100 times".... and Daddy and I enjoyed some nice day dates of heading to the top of the world and skiing down the beautiful bowls while enjoying the bluebird skies.
Here's the album of all I described above and more. A week we will never forget! Thanks so much to Nana and Papa for hosting one of our very favorite traditions and one of the best weeks of the year.
