Day 1 in Rome started with your first cappuccino... which neither of you liked. HA!
A little more your speed... your first gelato! We had the Spanish Steps to ourselves as we explored Rome in the early morning and found a little cafe right at the base of the Spanish steps for your breakfast... your first of many gelatos.

And our first adventure. A tour of the Vatican.
We capped of our first night on the top floor of Hotel Eden, looking over all of Rome at sunset. We were surprised by an amazing welcoming including a tour of their Italian Kitchen and introductions to the chefs. After that special treat, we enjoyed the sunset, gelato #2, and a gorgeous walk home through the Roman streets.
