Summer break is here for one of the girls... Kendall finished her last day of the 3's program at Westminster pre-school. I can't believe your magical year is over. Mrs. Henderson can't say enough about how joyful and enthusiastic you were about school, ballet, dress up and friends :) We celebrated with snow cones and live music in the school lawn, and have been having fun ever since. From morning cuddles, to puddle jumping to playdates, I've been enjoying having slow summer days with this one already! CHEERS TO SUMMER! Cannot wait to have Mollie join us.

HOOKEY!
I'm starting to crave the calm of summer, so we got a sneak peak today, with literally the PERFECT day! Mollie stayed home from school, we cuddled in bed, made zoo pancakes, then headed to the zoo. In a few short weeks, it will be in the 90's, which made our cloudy spring day even better. We saw dinosaurs, the baby giraffe, watched them feed the elephants, got within feet of the gorillas, and played in the children zoo. Then we had an awesome girls lunch downtown and I watched the girls climb the spider webs at Klyde Warren park. All without a stroller... it is the end of an era girls... and it's SO AWESOME! Thank you for treating me to your smiles and company and a slow fun day to ourselves. I loved every single minute together!

Hip Hop - the single lady
We had a little sneak peak into our future, the teen age Mollie, once she geared up in her makeup and sassy costume for "All the Single Ladies" performance on the big stage. Big girl knew what was ahead of her with a handful of recitals under her belt, and was so excited to be glammed up and smiling with her friends shaking it on stage. The big hit seemed to be the bright pink lipstick. She looked gorgeous all glammed up and had a HUGE smile during her performance. It looked like a lot of fun and we were so proud from the audience! Video coming soon :)
I thought this might be the last year of recitals for her, but she is hoping for a try at Jazz next year.
That's a wrap for recital week... which ended up being more fun than I ever imagined!

Kendall taking the big stage
For the first time, Kendall was so excited to get her hair in a ballerina bun and get slammed up with makeup to dance on the big stage in front of the audience! I think the pink lipstick and pink tutu had something to do with it, but her bestie and her jumped up the steps to McFarlin Auditorium as quickly as they could in their tutus and took to the stage with big, happy smiles to dance to "Oh what a beautiful morning". Proud mama couldn't hide the happy smile either! Kendall you were just precious and it was so much fun to watch up glowing up there.

My 7th Mother's Day
I can't say it much better than that... it is exactly how I feel.
Little did I know the gift these girls have given me over the last seven years would be beyond my wildest dreams. They make me a better person, bring me more sunshine and joy, make me smile bigger than before and make by belly hurt with laughter. And all of my happy mothering, is made better by the support of the best daddy! SO - today I am lifted up by the three people who complete my life as a mom and make every single day fun and special!
Love you and grateful to all three of you!
Thanks for making Mother's day so special from breakfast in bread to cuddles to homemade goodies!
Mollie - this made my day - THANK YOU!
KK - these cuddles made my day too -
P.S Girls -
I learned everything I know from this lady... the best!
And got my smile from her too. Love you mama. So glad you're mine :)
