Thank you Mollie...

-For giving me the two longest hugs you've ever given me today
-For making me laugh and warming my heart with your smile
-For laying your head on my shoulder and cuddling while I sang you a lullaby
-For whispering a secret "I love you" in my ear before you went to bed.
I love you!

The Best City to Raise a Family..

...and now Mollie knows why! We haven't slowed down since we arrived in Madison. We are determined to show Mollie all the excitement this city has to offer.

We arrived Wednesday afternoon and headed straight to the concerts on the square around the state capitol building with 20,000 other sconsinites. We got lucky... it was Italian music night. Everything from Frank to opera!

On Thursday, we woke up and went to splash around at one of the city beaches with the most gorgeous view of the city. Mollie decided to go swimming in her new dress from Grandma. Who needs a swim suit! Thursday afternoon, Daddy arrived and we loaded Mollie in a bike trailer and rode around one of the lakes to the garden.

and off to the secret garden...

Mollie couldn't get enough of the tomatoes. In fact, she picked and ate (one bite of each) so many that she had to move on to the neighbors garden.

On Friday we rode around the other lake to the zoo, then Mollie stayed to play with Holly while the adulta went sailing on lake Mendota.

sailing in the white caps...

Saturday started at the Farmer's Market around the square, then back to a beach amidst the bluffs at a state park.

the swimming hole at Governor Dodge State Park. So pretty!

and Sunday off to the Mississippi River to visit her Great Grandma.
Year two of our four generation pic!

Now, as I write, she is back at the beach with Grandpa and Dad.

What a magical place this is! Glad we have another week left!
