The Festivities Have Begun!

The entire Hanratty/Butler/Green clan was together to kick off the 4th of July celebration at Lake Kiowa.  Eight adults, three big kids, three babies and a dog.  Lots of joyful noise!  As evidenced below, the big hit this year is the tube.
"FASTER"!!

And here was some more outside fun...

Lots of indoor cuteness too, as the cousins entertained each other.

Can't wait for the rest of the week!

Movie Time

Today was a big day for Mollie and Mommy's first date to a movie theatre.  The girls were so excited with their 3D glasses and popcorn.

Kendall is 11 months old!

I wish I could put up an hour of video to describe Kendall at 11 months.
Quite the personality.

Grandma thinks she's going to be our spitfire!  She attracts a crowd everywhere she goes and is happy to entertain them with her gigantic smile and waves.  She shakes her booty to any music that has a beat.  She makes her opinion very clear by shaking her head or using her voice.  She has more expressions than an adult.  And as she gets older, she still lets me rock her to bed at night.  You are a prize little one, just like Grandma says :)  I cannot believe our baby will be one next month.  Look out Mollie, she'll be coming for you soon!!

Look what I found

Kendall is many things, and cautious has proven to be one of them.  She has laid perfectly still on her back exactly where we put her, for almost exactly eleven months.  Today was a big day, she figured out she has some freedom in that crib of hers, and when I went to get her from nap, she was proudly standing waiting for me.

How wonderful life is!

Grandma, thanks for showing us how wonderful life is.
For being the matriarch of this amazing family.
For always being there.
We love you.
We are praying for you.

Madison - the highlight reel

Every day of a Madison summer is a highlight.

In addition to horseback riding, sailing, dance parties and the wedding, the rest of the week was filled with trips to the beach, zoo, art festival farmers market, and every wonderful offering outdoor Madison has to offer.  We loved every bit!  A big thanks for Grandma and Grandpa for being such gracious hosts as they recovered as we took over their living quarters with kids, kids and more kids.
