18 Months!

Wow!  Our sweet baby girl is 18 months.
All 24.5 lbs. and 34 inches of her.
And she's still my baby.
But she's growing up at lightning speed.

Our sweet baby girl is talking and walking and laughing and playing.  Crawling onto chairs, coloring with crayons, riding her baby bike.

She makes all of your animal sounds with gusto.  She says "I want that" and "I do this" a lot :)  Lots of "wheeeeee" and "yayyyyy" when she's swinging or sliding.  She loves to say "hi" to anyone walking by, and just figured out how to say "Mollie".  It is the cutest thing I have ever heard.

She speaks half baby, half English, and never stops talking.

She runs after her sister and hugs her, blows raspberries on her belly button and reads books in her bed before nighttime.

She shows me her belly button and my nose.  She runs towards me with full force and dives in with a hug.  She loves to be tickled and play peek-a-boo.

She does puzzles and plays with doggies.  She loves her dollies.

She makes everyone smile around her.  Especially us.

You make sunshine KK!

We love you and watching you grow every day!  I can't believe you've already been with us for 18 months, but I feel like you've been with us forever.

Kendall has started posing and saying "cheese" when she sees a camera.  Smile is hilarious!

Kendall's Night Out

When Mollie is away, Kendall will play.  We had a great night out with KK while Mollie was having QT recovery time with Nana at the lake.  So much fun and soo easy :)

Still Brave Mollie

During week two, the weather turned so we were able to spend a bit of time outside.  The girls cuddled inside and cuddled outside.  So much fun to watch them love each other. The big hit was our new slide.  Others were holiday wall stickers, tea party, a hospital in our tent and their new trampoline. Mollie spent a few special days with Nana at the lake.  Kendall had a few outings of her own.  And we were brave and ventured out a bit.

Mollie, we are so proud of you for being such a tough cookie, and are SO glad you're better! Your creativity and imagination amaze me.  It was so much fun to cuddle you, play with you and watch you play for two weeks at home.

Happy Birthday Daddy

What a lucky dad to come home to custom decorated seat at the table and homemade strawberry cake!
And of course someone to "help" open his gifts!

We love you daddy!

Brave Mollie

Our brave Mollie went in for surgery to have her tonsils and adenoids removed and tubes put in her ears.  Luckily, we had a book where the character had the same surgery, so she knew to expect TV at the hospital and ice cream after.  She was quite excited when her story was right on!

Unfortunately, the excitement wore off when the recovery started.  This kiddo was a trooper and we did every craft and indoor activity I could think of and ate every soft treat on the planet to pass the two weeks of recovery at home.  Here are some highlights of week one.
