Cousins and Christmas Crafts

Mollie could barely contain her excitement for her cousins to arrive to decorate gingerbread houses.  While Madeline delicately decorated her casa, Mollie and Henry devoured about 75% of the decorations (all with very valid excuses... "this fell off" etc...   Somehow they all managed to get some candy on their houses and the end results were quite impressive!  

 When asked if she wanted to change before she dug in the dirt and decorated gingerbread houses, she said "Mama, this is what Christmas is all about".   So, why not?

We followed with a nice holiday dinner and the big kids joined the celebration with sparkling cider toast.

An absolutely perfect day!
