To celebrate Mollie turning 4 1/2, we decided to take her skating with her new cool pink skates.
I had no idea that it would be a better idea to have waited until she was 10.
After a couple quick deep bone bruises, I thought we would have been out of there in 10 minutes, but Mollie had some serious determination and wouldn't give up until she figured out how to do this herself. "Stop helping me MOMMY!"
So Mollie did a couple laps holding onto the bars around the rink on her own, then figured out how to tip toe with 3/4 inch steps without falling or holding on. And we did that for an hour. Whew Mol, we are proud of your resolve to figure this out! Can't wait for Colorado ;) The snow should spice it up even more!
Love you big 4 1/2 year old, and love our Mollie/Mommy time!
